Original Poster - Umer Nalla 61119 Get Link Report Abuse Why do I get a Grey Screen when using Chrome Remote Desktop between two Windows 10 machines 0 Recommended Answers 44 Replies 142 Upvotes 1 Recommended Answer 0 Recommended Answers 1 Relevant Answer 0 Relevant Answers I have configured one Windows 10 PC as the Chrome Remote Desktop and Installed the chromeremotedesktophost.msi, setup a PIN etc.

The user at the other end sees the message Your desktop is currently shared.etc However, all I see is a grey screen locally.

The person at the other end can see my mouse being moved and clicked etc on their screen - but I just see a grey screen.

If I type something at my end they can see what I am typing - but I dont see anything.

BTW the old Chrome Remote Desktop separate program that is no longer supported still works perfectly.
